Fine Art Paper Flowers
ABOUT
My name is Marta and I live and work in Venice, a city suspended between water and sky, where every single corner is a work of art. After completing my training as a gemologist, I chose to follow an artistic path, creating paper flowers. Venice, with its light, its changing colours and its unique atmosphere, is my source of inspiration.
I live here with my family: my husband, our two children and a little dog who, in between games, keeps me company while I work.
Paper is my main material, and I express my creativity through my hands. I cut, fold, curl and transform paper into petals, one after the other, giving life to flowers that convey a multitude of emotions.
The increasing demand and interest in my creations convinced me that this passion could grow into a personal business.
Throughout my journey so far, I have been fortunate to collaborate with all kinds of talented people. It gives me great joy to see how my flowers, once acquired, can be adapted to all sorts of different environments and situations, adding a little of my own poetry to the spaces that welcome them.
